About me | بیوگرافی

I am an anthropologist and an environmental archaeologist who uses animal remains from archaeological sites to study the social, cultural, and ecological factors that shape ancient animal economies and the impact of animal-based subsistence adaptations on long-term trajectories of cultural development and environmental change across eastern North America & the highlands of West Asia.

My research interests cut across the Pleistocene-Holocene divide, from the Upper Paleolithic and Paleoindian to Mississippian and Fort Ancient cultures in eastern N. America and the Kura-Araxes or Early Transcaucasian Culture (ETC) in W. Asia.
